We are very happy to announce that we have completed the door-to-door surveying portion of our planning process. A total of 363 neighborhood residents took the time to answer the survey questions and provide their voice to this process. None of this would have been possible without the dedication and commitment of all our great survey takers and interns who tirelessly entered all of your responses into our database.
As you can see from the chart below, we are now entering into the Focus Group portion of the process. We will be holding focus groups this week and next, where we will continue to gain insights into how you want to make your mark on the community.
Last Thursday night over 50 community residents gathered with us at our first public meeting for the Make Your Mark! Neighborhood Planning Process. Attendees heard from PEC Vice President of Community and Economic Development, Kira Strong, PEC Executive Director, Farah Jimenez, and representatives from Interface Studios. You can see the presentation by Interface Studios by clicking here. You can see pictures from the event by clicking here.
Check out some of the great pictures that Interface Studios took of the Planning Open House setup and the first night of festivities.
We are happy to announce the first public meeting for the Make Your Mark! neighborhood Planning Process. It will be held at 4007 Lancaster Avenue (near 40th and Lancaster Avenue) on December 1st from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Come out and hear how the planning process is going and share your vision for the neighborhood.
